At Skene Edwards, we have years of conveyancing experience in assisting clients in the sale of their property, from the pre-sale stage through to the completion of the final conveyancing procedures.

Pre-sale

We will take your instructions and obtain any relevant information from you. We will also deal with any pre-registration procedures and uplift the title deeds from your lender.

Offer/Missive Stages

We will liaise with our Estate Agency Department and take your instructions on the detailed conditions of the offer. Thereafter, we will issue a qualified acceptance on your behalf. We are members of the Edinburgh and Lothians Conveyancing Forum and we have adopted the Standard Clauses promoted by the Forum.

We will negotiate and conclude the Missives of Sale on your behalf with a view to making the contract of sale binding on both parties as quickly as possible.

Conveyancing

We will deal with all aspects of the conveyancing procedures on your behalf with the minimum fuss, whether the title is undergoing first registration or it is already registered in the Land Register of Scotland.

We will also attend to the repayment of any loan and obtain a formal Discharge of any Security from your lender.
